President Yoweri Museveni Kaguta on Monday directed the Ministry of Works and Transport to tarmac the 113km Awer-Rhino Camp road in Amuru district.
This follows the request by the Amuru district local government leadership to the President in March 2020.
The Ministry has since written to the Amuru district leadership announcing the development.
Michael Lakony, the district chairperson Amuru district local government confirmed receiving the letter.
