At least nine teachers in government aided primary schools in Gulu City are battling mental health related sickness.
According to Richard Irwenyo, the Gulu City Senior Principal Education Officer, the nine have been put on medication and recovering steadily.
Education official attributes it to “inadequate psychosocial support in the past two years of Covid-19 negative impacts”.
Last year, the German government through [GIZ] and European Union launched a five-year strategic plan to fight mental in Gulu.
