A Saudi national identified asAyman Sayed Elshahany was on Tuesday trampled to death by an Elephant in Murchison Falls National Park.
According to a press released by the Uganda Wild Authority (UWA), Elshahany, was attacked and killed by the Elephant at around 11am.
The deceased and three other people were reportedly transiting through the park in a Toyota Wish vehicle Reg. No. UBJ917C when they made stopover in the park.
According Wilson Kagoro, the UWA Community Conservation Warden, Elshahany stepped out of the car to take a snapshot of the elephant when it charged at him before trampling him to death.
