Uganda Kobs head coach Morley Byekwaso has dropped key players Richard Basangwa and Isma Mugulusi ahead of the CECAFA U-23 Challenge Cup.
According to the coach, Basangwa tested positive for COVID-19, while Muguluusi is nursing a knee injury.
The 23-man team travel to Bahir Dar, Ethiopia this afternoon ahead of the regional tournament which runs from July 18-31st.
Uganda Kobs will open their campaign against guest side DR Congo on July 18th, before completing their last Pool A match against Tanzania on July 25th.
