At least seven Covid-19 patients are fighting for their lives at Gulu Regional Referral hospital, according to the in charge treatment center.
Doctor Paska Apiyo, the in charge case management at the Regional Referral hospital says out of the 7, three are on ventilators.
A ventilator is a machine that provides mechanical ventilation by moving breathable air into and out of the lungs, to deliver breaths to a patient who is physically unable to breathe, or breathing insufficiently.
At least four Covid-19 patients have succumbed to the virus at the hospital since October this year.
