RRC Office To Investigate Illegal Allocation Of Gov’t Land

The office of the Gulu Resident City commissioner has launched investigation into allegations of sale of government land within the City to some individuals.

Land allegedly sold to individuals includes parts of Bomah grounds and Pece channel among others.

Early this month, residents of Gulu city woke up to find materials being ferried for the construction of a petrol station on Pece stream along Gulu Avenue.

Odoki Francis Okello, the deputy resident City commissioner, says they want to find out are these individuals who acquired those lands and how they acquired it.

” We are going after people who have diverted government land. If you know you have fraudulent land titles, just know we are coming after you,” Odoki warned.
