Police in Pader central police station are hunting for a 25 year old man who allegedly killed his 45year old mother for failing to serve him food in time.
Erick Ojok, a resident of Atup village in Lunyiri Sub County, Pader district allegedly killed Lamwaka Ketty on Sunday.
According to reports, Ojok assaulted his late by cutting her with a panga twice on the head.
David Ongom Mudong, the Aswa River region police spokesperson says police rushed to the scene and took the deceased body to Awere health center III for postmortem while the search for the suspect is underway.
According to section 189 of the Uganda penal code act, any person convicted of murder shall be sentenced to death.
