A senior Police officer who tested positive for COVID-19 and was started on treatment has now tested negative.
Asan Kasingye, the director of the force’s political commissariat, announced 17 days ago that he had tested positive for the virus and was quarantined.
In the days that followed, Kasingye asked sections of the public to stop stigmatizing others for carrying the virus.
But on Tuesday evening, Kasingye published his test results that indicated that he is now negative.
