Nine taekwondo clubs have received a donation of equipment from one Niklas Enanber, a Swedish International Taekwondo Instructor.
Enanber who was on a tour of Taekwondo clubs in northern Uganda handed the equipment to the clubs yesterday at Pece War Memorial Stadium in Gulu city.
The items which include boxing gloves, mouth guard, foot protector, first aid kits and groin guard were given to Gulu University taekwondo club, Kazo firm sports academy, Kumbat Spirit taekwondo club, City Gym Taekwondo club and Gulu Marshal Art taekwondo club all in Gulu City.
Others are Pabbo taekwondo club in Amuru, Omoro taekwondo club, Nwoya taekwondo club and Aswa taekwondo club in Gulu district.
Maxwell James Ogwang, the coordinator of Northern Uganda Taekwondo Association said the donation is timely.
