Gulu District Covid-19 Task force this morning reopened Equity Bank Gulu branch which was closed yesterday after one of its staff tested positive for Covid-19.
Michael Cankara, the Gulu District Surveillance Officer said the bank was reopened after fumigation was done in the night.
He also said the bank authority brought new staff from Kampala while the Gulu staff have all been put in quarantine.
Meanwhile, Aswa ranch in Angagura Sub County, Pader district is under lockdown after two people working at the Aswa Hydro Power project tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday.
Alex Layoo, the Pader District Health Officer says the two people were taken to the Gulu treatment Centre on Wednesday morning while samples of 50 primary contacts were picked for testing.
