One person has succumbed to coronavirus at Gulu Regional Referral Treatment Center.
The unidentified victim is a woman who was admitted last week at the health facility in a severe state.
This now brings to 35 the total number of Coronavirus death cases registered in Gulu since 2020.
Last week, the Gulu district Health Department warned that more people are likely to die of the virus because of reluctance by the community to observe the standard operating procedures.
William Onyai, the Gulu District Covid-19 Risk Communication Officer confirmed the death saying seven more patents are in admission and that their condition was stable.
over 140 news cases of Coronavirus have been registered in Gulu in the last one month alone.
