140 Storm Gulu District Headquarters Demanding For Food Aid


About 150 women and men on Friday stormed Gulu District Headquarters demanding to be given food aid as the extended national lockdown by Government continues to bite.

Gulu District Chairperson Martine Ojara Mapenduzi who is also the Chairperson of the Resource mobilization for the District Task Force told the group that the district is yet to receive food aid from central Government to be given to the most vulnerable groups in the district.

However, Johnson Gakumba, the bishop of the diocese of northern Uganda intervened and bought for each of the group 5 kilograms of maize and 2 kilogram of beans.
