Three people have been seriously injured after being knocked by a speeding vehicle at Paicho Trading Centre in Gulu District on Tuesday night.
The victims identified as Ochaka Richard aged 35, Ojok Wilfred aged 24 and Otto James aged 40- all residents of Paicho Sub County.
The trio has been admitted at the Gulu Regional Referral Hospital emergency Unit.
They were reportedly walking on the road at around 10:00pm when they were knocked by a speeding vehicle registration number UAV 392X that was being driven by one Ocen Alfred aged 39.
David Ongom Mudong, the Aswa River Region Police Spokesperson said the driver of the vehicle has been arrested and the vehicle towed to Gulu Central Police Station as investigation into the matter goes on.
