An employee of Mukama Nayama Health Drink Factory at Bar-Dege- Layibi Division in Gulu City could have been killed by a speeding object, according to a police postmortem report.
Samson Omwahiguru was founded dead in the early hours of Saturday morning, 200 meters from the gate of the Mukama Nayamba factory.
On the fateful day, Omwahiguru was reporting to work from the hostel when he met his death.
The deceased who was employed as a blender at the factory was initially suspected to have died from positioning.
But police pathologists ruled that out, describing his death as a tragic incident.
Davies Grace Pande, the Officer-In-Charge of Criminal Investigations Department (CID) at Gulu Central Police Station said the deceased could have died after being knocked from the back by an object which was traveling at a very high speed.
Pande however did not provide further details.
His body has since been picked by members of his family and taken western Uganda for burial.
