Kitgum District COVID-19 Task force has finally disclosed that Bregma Medical Center, a private health facility in the district, was temporary closed because a COVID-19 patient passed on from their facility last week.
The patient was identified as Billy Graham Odongkara, the former Kitgum District Vice Chairperson who was admitted at the facility last Wednesday with the low blood pressure but died hours later Thursday from breathing complications.
Health officials who spoke to Mega Fm disclosed that Odongkara succumbed to Covid-19, following test results released by the Health Ministry on Monday.
William Komakech, Kitgum Resident District Commissioner also the Covid-19 task-force Chairperson says that they have since taken bold steps to close down the health facility pending testing of all staffs.
