There is grief in Amuru district following the death of a senior midwife attached to Labong-ogali Health centre III in Amuru Sub County.
Margret Amono succumbed to Coronavirus on Tuesday morning from St Mary’s Hospital Lacor after battling for her life in the Intensive Care Unit for two weeks.
Amono becomes the second midwife to succumb to Coronavirus in a space of two weeks after Auma Jenesther a midwife attached to Anaka Hospital.
Geoffrey Orsbon Oceng, the Amuru Resident District Commissioner who also doubles as the Chairperson Coronavirus Taskforce confirmed the death, adding that three more health workers are still under treatment with Covid-19.
