The Uganda Cranes National team will have a build-up game with the Northern region select team as they prepare for the World Cup qualifiers.
Uganda Cranes will have a double fixture next month in November against Kenya and Mali respectively in the FIFA 2022 Qatar World Cup qualifiers.
National team coach Milutin Sredojević Micho has already summoned a 23 squad of the local-based players for the Northern regional tour slated to be held on Thursday 4th November 2021.
The team has three goalkeepers, seven defenders, eight midfielders and five forwards all from the domestic league.
Last month, the Uganda Cranes started the regional tours and played the Eastern region select team at the Mbale Municipal Stadium. Uganda Cranes won the game 1-0 courtesy of Joachim Ojera’s goal.
Uganda Cranes will host Kenya after defeating neighbours Rwanda twice in a doubleheader played this month.
