15 COVID-19 patients are set to be evacuated from Gulu Regional Referral Hospital to Kampala by Ministry of Health, according to Gulu district task-force.
Maj. Santos Okot Lapolo, the Gulu Resident District Commissioner who is also the chairman Gulu district task-force who made the announcement during a task-force meeting on Thursday afternoon said the hospital would not admit more patients until the ones there recover. Gulu Regional Referral Hospital currently has 66 COVID-19 patients.
Meanwhile, 28 people who also tested positive from Elegu were yesterday taken to Kampala.
