Major Okot Santos Lapolo, the Gulu Resident District Commissioner who also doubles as the chairperson Covid-19 Task Force has tested positive for Coronavirus.
Laopolo is currently undergoing treatment at Gulu Regional Referral hospital Coronavirus treatment Unit.
In a whatsapp message, Lapolo said there is no cause of alarm saying that he is in good health and responding well to treatment.
Doctor Paska Apiyo, the in-charge Coronavirus case management at Gulu Regional Referral Hospital also confirmed that the RDC is responding well to treatment and is not on Oxygen as alleged by some reports.
She said that three other people-two of them on oxygen are currently admitted at the center.
