Several travelers were on Tuesday left stranded after river Unyama burst its banks and submerged Unyama Bridge cutting off the Gulu-Patiko-Palaro road.
Fred Onen, a businessman, told Mega FM the river burst its banks covering about 50 meters on both sides of the bridge found in Patiko Sub County.
The flooded bridge forced some of the travelers to use Gulu –Awach –Patiko road and Gulu –Pabbo –Owoo road to get to Palaro or to Gulu city.
