The ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party has tasked its members in Northern Uganda to monitor the implementation of the different government programs in the region.
According to NRM, the implementation of the development programs in the country is part of the fulfillment of the party 2021 manifesto.
Jacob Olanyah, the Speaker of Parliament who also doubles as the NRM Party National Vice Chairperson for the northern region said the party members have to monitor programs and see how it is being implemented and progress made.
Addressing the press at St Monica Tailoring School in Gulu City recently, Oulanyah noted that most times, party members are only being involved in election-related activities.
