Police in Atiak Sub County, Amuru district are investigating the death of a 90 year old woman.
Jina Lakop was on Saturday found burnt to ashes in her hut at Binonga village in Pacilo west, Pacilo Parish.
Reports say that neighbors only realized at around 4:00am in the morning that her house was on fire and it was too late to put it out.
It is not clear how the house caught fire.
A police officer who declined to be named because he is not authorized to speak to the press said they kicked off investigations after the matter was reported to them by neighbours.
