Alex Okello Gwangamoi, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Ethics and Integrity has warned Local Council One chairpersons against demanding for money when issuing recommendation letters saying its corruption.
He cited the 10 percent always demanded by the officials during signing and witnessing of land sale agreement.
Gwangamoi who was speaking during a media engagement meeting held at Churchill Court Hotel in Gulu city on Friday said the practice of demanding for money by local council one chairpersons is limiting many people from accessing services.
