At least four suspects have been arrested in connection to the shooting to death of a boda boda rider in Kitgum Municipal on Friday night.
Omara Moses Ivan, in his early 20s, was shot and killed at around 9:30 pm in Kitgum Central Division.
The deceased was allegedly shot dead by a female passenger he had carried who later made off with his motorcycle registration number USM 523N.
The motorcycle was later recovered in Lamwo following a swift and intensive operation conducted by the police.
This led to the arrest of the four suspects, including the lady, who are currently being held at Kitgum Municipal Police Station.
Peter Onyesigye, the district police commander, confirmed the arrest, adding that police were yet to recover the gun used in the killing of the rider.
