A jealous woman in Amuru district who reportedly stabbed to death her co-wife because she was favoured by their husband was this morning arrested by police
22-year old Patricia Auma is accused of murdering her co wife 28-year old Jennifer Arach in Te-Olam village, Labala Parish, Pabbo Sub County at around 8;00 pm on Tuesday evening claiming their husband Okello Patrick Zakeo spent more time with the deceased.
Reports say she was stabbed twice in the stomach with a kitchen knife.
The deceased who was rushed to Lacor Health Centre III in Pabbo succumbed to her injuries on Wednesday evening.
The suspect allegedly went into hiding in Patiko Sub County in Gulu district where she was arrested early this morning.
Geoffrey Oceng Orsbon, the Acting Amuru Resident District Commissioner confirmed the incident.
