A family of three has survived arson in Agago district after unknown person used petrol to set their house on fire at Jinja village, Pacer parish in Parabongo Sub County.
Bosco Olara, 40, his wife and child survived the arson attempt at around 8:00pm on Thursday.
Alex Ojera, the Local Council 11 Chairperson Pacer parish said the arsonist poured petrol on the door of the house and set it on fire.
Luckily, Olara sensed the house getting hot and managed to rescue his wife and child before others neighbour joined him in successfully putting out the fire using water.
A police officer at Kalongo police station confirmed the report saying investigations into the incident were on going.
