Acholi Province team fan was on Sunday evening killed in a nasty road accident on Gulu-Kitgum road.
Odong Chinese, a resident of Laroo-Pece division in Gulu City, was killed after the motorcycle he was riding knocked a rail at Ajan Bridge in Pader district before crashing by the road side.
The deceased was returning from Kitgum where he had gone to watch a football match between Acholi Province and Buganda Province.
Two of his colleagues sustained serious injuries and were rushed to Atanga Health Centre III for treatment. They were riding motorcycle registration number UEX 298E.
Dickson Ojok, the councilor V for Angagura sub county, said the deceased was riding in a high speed before losing control and knocking the rail at Ajan Bridge.
According to the traffic police records for the last four years, at least 2,634 pedestrians and cyclists are killed on Uganda roads every year.
