Vanguard primary school on Sunday emerged champions of the Gulu Municipal Council Music, Dance and Drama-MDD competition held at Gulu senior secondary school.
Vanguard primary school won the competition with 690 points beating Mary Immaculate to the second position after they only managed to garner 681 points.
Gulu prison primary schools were third with 672 points, Unifat fourth with 646 points and Laroo primary school were last with 578 points.
Vanguard primary school and the 2015 champions Gulu primary school will now represent Gulu Municipal council at the regional MDD competition to be hosted by Agago district later this month.
When giving closing remarks, the municipal inspector of school Fiona Grace Atim warned teachers against involving themselves in love affairs while at the same school.
Atim asked teachers who might have fallen in love but still teaching at the same school to ask for transfer.
