The suspects, Florence Akullu aged 50 and Ajok Mader aged 34 were paraded before community members at around 10:00am and caned five strokes each.

Charles Ojok Oyat, the Local Council One Chairperson Ogwari village said the women and their children were found harvesting sunflower from a garden belonging to one Simon Okello and were about to be beaten when they were saved by local authorities.
