Two Killed In Amuru Road Accident


Two members of the Amuru District Boda Boda Motorcycle Association on Monday evening died in a nasty road accident after a head on collision at Apaa Junction along Pabbo-Adjumani road in Amuru District.

The deceased identified as Otenya Pa’Amu Pabidi Pabbo and another rider identified only as Kilama died on the spot.

The two passengers that Kilama had carried on his motorcycle sustained serious injuries and were rushed to St Mary’s Hospital Lacor in critical conditions. They have been identified Kibwola Richard and Joseph Otema.

Kilama, riding motorcycle Reg. No. UDW 931H, was heading to Apaa while Otenya, riding motorcycle Reg. No. UEA 187M, was heading towards Pabbo.

Charles Okot, the Local Council Two Chairperson Labala Parish says that the two cyclists were riding at a terrible speed when they collided.

Jimmy Patrick Okema, the Aswa River Region Police spokesperson says that he was yet to be briefed about the accident.
