Three suspects have been arrested in connection to the fatal shooting of a business man and his shop attendant in Kalongo Town Council, Agago district.
The suspects whose names have been withheld to avoid jeopardizing investigations, were arrested with the help of footage from Close Circuit Television –CCTV camera installed along the market square where the incident happened.
The trio that is being held at Agago Central Police Station allegedly gunned down Komakech Joseph aged 52 and his shop attendant Joel Opiyo aged 26 at around 7:30pm on Wednesday night.
The suspect also made off with unspecified amounts money from Komakech after shooting him six times and his attendant four times.
Emmanuel Okot, the Agago Resident District Commissioner who doubles chairperson security confirmed the arrest.
Okot said that they hunting for more suspects who are at large.
