SOCCER: NWOYA YOUNG ELEPHANTS REGISTER SECOND WIN

Nwoya Young Elephants on Sunday thumped Patongo United 2-0 to register their second win in the ongoing Federation of Uganda Football Association regional league played from St Mark playground Olwiyo in Purongo Sub County.

The win now takes Young Elephants to seven points after five games played.

Saidi Engola, the Young Elephants Public Relations Officer attributed the win to a number of their players coming back from injuries.

In the other games also played on Sunday, Kalongo United were held 2-2 by Northern Elephants, Tawai FC was also held 1-1 by Aboje Lions FC, Blue Stars humiliated Minakulu United 4-1 and Savior FC thrashed Minakulu United 5-1
