Seven Huts Torched In Lalogi Sub County
A total of seven grass thatched huts were last night torched in two separate but related attacks in Latin Ling village, Lalogi Sub County in Omoro district.
Trouble started when one James Olanya in his mid-30’s burnt down three huts belonging to Santa Adong, a sister to a woman he was dating.
Hours later, the family of Adong retaliated by setting on fire four of his huts.
The area local council one chairperson, Martin Oringa told Mega Fm that they were yet to understand the reasons behind Olanya’s actions.
The Omoro District Police Commander, Peter Mugabi confirmed the incident saying Olanya has since gone into hiding.
