Simon Okema, the second victim of the Omoro shooting incident yesterday, has succumbed to severe gunshot wounds.
Okema aged 25, died at around 3:00am from Gulu Regional Referral Hospital where he had been rushed for treatment.
The resident of Omolo village, Omoro town council was shot together with 16 year old Emmanuel Olanya who died on the spot on Monday morning at around 5:30am from Opit Central Ward, Omoro Town Council.
The two were allegedly shot by the Officer in charge of Opit Police station sergeant Okot Christopher who had been called to the scene where the deceased were reportedly fighting over unidentified girl.
Moses Akena, the Omoro District Police Commander confirmed the report.
