Rwot Acana Finally Back Home
The Acholi Paramount Chief Rwot David Onen Acana II is finally home, after being stranded for three months in the UK.
Rwot Acana who heads the Ker Kwaro Acholi Chiefdom was locked down in London, where he had gone for personal business at a time when the world was enforcing travel restrictions to control the spread of coronavirus Disease (COVID-19).
Last evening, Rwot David Onen Acana, alongside 150 other Ugandans arrived at Entebbe International Airport aboard Ethiopian Airlines.
Also on Board was Ugandan cardiovascular surgeon Prof. Francis Omaswa and several reknowned personalities.
The returnees were taken for institutional quarantine after screening at the airport.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, A total of 2,400 Ugandans got stuck in 66 countries across the world.
