RDC orders arrest of 2 impersonators


Pader Resident District Commissioner, Justine Lungajul has ordered for the arrest of two people who impersonated civil servants and received bribes from beneficiaries of the operation wealth creation.
The two who were volunteering at the Production department of Pader district local government allegedly extorted money from people who were meant to benefit from the Operation Wealth Creation program.
During the council meeting on Tuesday, councilors condemned the irregularities seen in the distribution of dairy cows under operation wealth program on 17th June.
The female councilor Pajule, Rose Latoo asked the responsible officers to investigate and ensure that the offenders are held accountable for their actions.
Pader LCV chairman, Godfrey Largo Oringa said that Major Charles Ojoma was already under incarceration pending further investigations.
RDC Lungajul said the two volunteers only identified as Bonnie and Onyango have been held for bribery at Pader central police station.
