Pader Road Gangs Recover Bomb On Roadside
There was panic in Lagwayi ‘B’ village in Pader Town Council on Wednesday morning after road gangs cleaning the town centre recovered an explosive.
The unexploded ordnance suspected to be a rapid propel grenade was found on the roadside.
In January 2017, six children from the same family in Libi village in Angagura Sub County, Pader District were injured after an object suspected to be a bomb which they were playing with exploded.
The children had found the metallic object in a kraal and started playing with it before disaster struck.
Fearless Kilama W’Acholi, the Pader Town Council LC III Chairperson confirmed report to Mega FM adding that Bomb experts from the Tactical Field Engineering Unit under the 5th Division Infantry Headquarters based in Achol- Pii in Pader District have already picked the bomb.
