High Court sitting in Gulu has sentenced to 15-years in jail a teenager found guilty of defiling a 3-Year-Old girl in Kati-Kati village, Owoo sub county in Gulu District.
Innocent Komakech who appeared before Justice Chemtai Tom on Thursday, pleaded guilty to the offense of aggravated defilement contrary to section 129 of the Penal Code Act.
Prosecution alleged that Komakech defiled the minor who is his relative on May 20, 2020, from Kati Kati village.
Justice Chemtai noted that Komakech will serve 13-years and three months in prison considering that he has spent 1 year and 7 months on remand.
