Gulu Regional Referral Hospital Discharges Three Covid-19 Patients
Gulu Regional Referral Hospital on Tuesday discharged three more patients who have totally recovered from COVID-19 disease.
The three, all truck drivers from Kenya, include Alex Nyagena Ongwenyi, Abdi Mohamade Adow and Elimi Aasem Jimale.
The first case, a Ugandan truck driver, was discharged on May 21, 2020.
Gulu Regional Referral Hospital Director Dr Elima James thanked the health workers for job well done.
However, Gulu resident district commissioner Maj. Okot Santo Lapolo cautions members of the public to avoid contracting the disease by flouting the prevention guidelines including social distancing and washing hands among others.
Gulu regional referral hospital is still treating 64 active cases.
