At least 15 recovered Covid-19 patients were today (Wednesday) discharged from Gulu Regional Referral Hospital.
This now brings to 158 Covid-19 patients who recovered from Gulu Regional Referral Hospital Treatment Center since March, 2020.
Bishop Janani Lumum, the Gulu regional referral hospital surveillance officer says 19 active cases are still being managed at the treatment unit.
Meanwhile, reports have emerged that People living with Diabetes, a life -threatening condition, are among patients who were treated for Coronavirus at Gulu Regional Referral Hospital treatment centre.
According to the report released on July 21 by the Gulu District COVID-19 Taskforce, two of the over 160 patients treated for COVID-19, were found to be suffering from Diabetes.
In a related development, at least 1,185 people in Gulu District have been tested for Coronavirus since March this year.
