One estimate puts funds poured into northern Uganda in the last two decades after normalcy returned to region to support stabilization and lasting peace at around four (4) trillion shillings.
This after the war ended in 2006 and government and other development agencies moved away from emergency relief aids to support multilateral efforts to speed up recovery in the former war-ravaged region.
