The in charge Aywer Health center 111 in Pece-Laroo Division, Gulu City died on Sunday after an accident while taking driving lessons from Rejo driving school last evening at Bomah Ground.
Judith Aceng, a senior clinical officer is said to have crashed into the wall fence of Acholi Inn Hotel at around 6:00pm when she accidentally reversed the car.
The driving instructor Rubangakene Reagan had reportedly gone out to check a mechanical problem which had stopped the vehicle’s engine when the car registration number UAJ 423 Q reversed into the wall fence.
The 38-year old Aceng who suffered head and chest injuries died while being taken to St Mary’s hospital Lacor.
Jimmy Patrick Okema, the Aswa River Region police spokesperson says investigations are ongoing to establish the cause of accident and death.
Her body was by press time lying at the 4th division mortuary.
Gulu city health officer, Toopiny Geoffrey Onyuta said the council was going to sit to plan for her burial.
