Anti-malaria drugs out of stock at Labworomor health center three

Mega fm has learnt that Labworomor health center three in Palaro Sub County, Gulu district has for the last one week has no anti-malaria drugs.
This shortage comes at a time when the health facility registers over 100 cases of malaria daily.
The health center at the same time only has one person in laboratory to handle all these cases.
The in charge of Labworomor health center three, Dr Okello Labedo told mega fm that over 120 people test positive for malaria daily at the facility but can’t get medication.
He says they are forced to advise patients to purchase the drugs from private clinics.
Okello is now urging government to increase its staffing from the current 13 to the required 19.
