Anaka: Elephants invade Anaka town council
Two elephants invaded Anaka Town Council in Nwoya district.
The elephants were found in the home of Nwoya Woman Member of Parliament Adong Lillian in Kal sub ward, Ceke ward.
Okema Denis, the local council three chairperson of Anaka town council said six rangers had reported to the area to try and drive the elephants back into Murchison Falls Game Park.
Okema, however, said the wild animals had not yet caused any injury or destroyed any crops
When contacted, Hangi Bashir the communication officer for Uganda Wild Life Authority said he was not yet aware of the report.
