2191 Special Police Constable (SPCs) were today passed out to help enforce law and order during the 2021 general election after a three week training course.
Police authority assured the beginners of future consideration in case of recruitments and urged them to keep discipline and good health.
Brig. Gen. Francis Acoka Ongom (Rtd) who was the chief guest at the pass out at Sir Samuel Baker secondary school in Gulu urged the SPCs to ensure the election is peaceful.
421 trainees were from Gulu and Gulu City, 268 from Kitgum, Pader has 289, Amuru 243, Lamwo 238, Nwoya 200, Agago 289 and Omoro 234.
According to Jimmy Patrick Okema, the Aswa River Region police spokesperson says that two of the trainees were discontinued due to indiscipline.
