At least 16 people in Gulu who allegedly came into contact with a Kenyan truck driver who tested positive to Covid-19 have been taken into quarantine.
The driver of truck registration number KCY 263X/ZG 1891 was on Monday morning intercepted at Sultan Energy Petrol Station in Layibi Division in Gulu.
The 16 and others still at large, according to reports, were on Sunday evening seen socializing with the patient in a number of places including drinking joints.
The suspect is now admitted to Gulu Regional Referral Hospital for treatment.
This brings the number of infected drivers who have tested positive to 61 as of today and those admitted to Gulu Regional Referral Hospital to five.
