Two Gulu schools qualify for national spelling bee competition


Gulu public and Gulu primary schools have qualified for the Uganda Enjuba spelling bee competition that will be held at the Kampala Serena hotel on Sunday.

The two schools went through a tough English spelling competition held at Gulu Public Primary School on Monday that attracted 11 schools.

The patron Gulu public school, Agutu Debora Okello has urged parents to buy English books for children to improve on their spelling abilities.

Moses Tusiime, the in charge operation spelling bee Uganda says Enjuba spelling bee organization is a Ugandan organization that was started in 2013 as an educational tool to improve the literacy of children.
