Students of Arch-Angel Micheal Senior Secondary School in Koro Sub County, Omoro district last night went on a violent strike and destroyed school properties worth millions of shillings.
The students burnt the school store with food inside and the kitchen allegedly in protest over inadequate food and the sacking of two teachers.
Rev. David Lakwor, the school director of studies confirmed the incident, adding that they were yet to ascertain the magnitude of the damage.
Peter Mugabe, the Omoro district police commander told Mega FM that five students have been arrested to help the police with the investigations.
